ABOUT ME

Applying cognitive-behavioral therapy to a range of mental heath needs, I have worked with children, teens, couples, and individuals for over 10 years as a New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist.  I have extensive experience in psychological assessment for children of all ages, and work with parents to gain the best educational environment for their children. 

In addition to my private practice, I teach on the faculty of C.W. Post University in the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology.  Before moving to Rockville Centre NY, I was a staff psychologist at the Westchester Institute for Human Development, part of the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla NY.

Professional Experience

Adjunct Professor, Assessment Coordinator, Long Island University, CW Post Campus

I began working at CW Post in 2005.  I’m an adjunct faculty member and have taught courses on behavioral assessment and child assessment.  My main role at CW Post is as assessment coordinator and supervisor at the training clinic.  I supervise graduate students in training on psychoeducational assessments of learning disabilities and ADHD.

I have been in private practice since 2000.  My specialty is working with children and adolescents and

have expertise in child anxiety disorders and parent training.  In the course of working on symptom reduction

my highest priority is your child's feelings of comfort and respect.
